| TheDarkPrince07-05-07, 04:30 AM | Probably already been done, but has anyone translated stats from World of Warcraft Draenei to DnD format? |
| Seldriss07-05-07, 08:12 AM | Draenei, as all the other WoW races, are in the World of Warcraft RPG book. You'll find eveything you need to adapt the MMORPG to your gaming table : races, classes, monsters, feats, spells... It's a big book, expensive, but very well made. Definitely worth it. |
| Naderion07-05-07, 08:20 AM | There are actually quite a number of book, I think about 8 to 12 or so. But not sure in wich one player-race Dranei are. |
| Seldriss07-05-07, 08:58 AM | That would be the campaign setting, the main book (and the biggest) : http://secure1.white-wolf.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=656 Edit : I suddenly have a doubt about the book where the draenei are presented... Is it the campaign setting or the Alliance sourcebook ? I will check that at home later... |
| Kelmourne07-05-07, 12:56 PM | The one thing that bothers me is that everyone now refers to races from warcraft as WoW races. WARCRAFT CAME OUT FIRST!!! WARCRAFT IS A BETTER GAME!!! WoW ISN'T A GOOD GAME, IT'S ADDICTIVE!!! |
| Meep32607-05-07, 01:16 PM | Reguardless of weather or not Warcraft came first, Draenei are the only actual WoW race as it never appeared in any of the Warcraft games, or books as far as I know. |
| Wolf7207-05-07, 01:22 PM | I don't think the Draenei are in the WoW CS ... |
| Manyfist07-05-07, 01:34 PM | I don't think the Draenei are in the WoW CS ... Not yet anyways. I think its in one of their supplement books about the Alliance or w/e. The one thing that bothers me is that everyone now refers to races from warcraft as WoW races. WARCRAFT CAME OUT FIRST!!! WARCRAFT IS A BETTER GAME!!! WoW ISN'T A GOOD GAME, IT'S ADDICTIVE!!! Well because over 8million people play it, as well as countless others heard of it. Warcraft was a bland RTS, WoW is a bland MMO, both however are popular, and many people haven't heard of Warcraft before WoW. With an MMO you don't control a unit of outdated pixels, you play as one guy similar to D&D, so don't get upset if people don't auto say "From Warcraft" instead of "From WoW" since WoW appeals to a wider audience than the RTS. |
| Crimson_Concerto07-05-07, 04:03 PM | Yes, the Draenei has been made multiple times on this board. Try using the search function on that bar up there. That should work, but on the off chance that it doesn't, try google searching with this board as your domain... |
| Morwen07-05-07, 04:30 PM | Draenei is in the Warcraft RPG Manual of Monsters. It's not in the World of Warcraft core book or in the Alliance Player's Guide, but it probably is in the WoW monster book (which I don't have access to). |
| TheDarkPrince07-06-07, 05:34 PM | I couldn't find any version on the boards, and when I google it, it comes up with about 700 pages of World of Warcraft stuff, so I was wondering if anyone can help make a homebrew version of them. Just some basics, or even just opinions on what kinds of things they should have would be helpful. (I also don't have money to buy the book, and my local hobby store doesn't carry the WoW books right now, so no help from the books.) Thanks, Cheers! :D |
| Wylantern07-06-07, 09:45 PM | The Warcraft monster book has corrupted Draenei, but you can't play them as characters in WoW. Their LA is relatively low in the monster book though, and I'd consider them playable with few changes. The monster book is 3rd ed., and listed as a Warcraft RPG suppliment, rather than a World of Warcraft RPG suppliment if anyone was confused. |
| ATroubledMarco07-06-07, 11:26 PM | MagusRogue, the alias of one of the writers in the WoWRPG, has unofficial draenei racial stats on his own website. http://http://www.geocities.com/magusrogue/Draenei.htm |
| TheDarkPrince07-07-07, 12:55 AM | Thanks, the link was really helpful. Cheers! :D |
| Lionhearted07-09-07, 11:47 AM | Reguardless of weather or not . Whether the weather withered within the wobble we wouldnt wait to win |
