Darkvision and Charisma? [Archive] - Wizards Community

For my new char I'm looking for a race that has darkvision (at least 60ft) and a + to Charisma. Preferably the race does not have a - to Constitution nor a level adjustment. Do you guys have any ideas?

06-11-07, 02:15 PM Aasimar is the only thing I can think of, but is is a +1.

The lesser aasimar might do what you want, but I dont know if that has dark-vision.

06-11-07, 02:38 PM Hellbred have +Cha and Darkvision, but they take a -Con.

Theres Aassimar and Drow, but they have LA.

06-11-07, 04:19 PM Star Elf +2 Cha/-2 Con. From Unapproachable East. Eligible for 1st level feat Otherworldly, which makes you an outsider, giving you bonuses including Darkvision 60'.

Venerable Dragonwrought Kobold will give you +3 Cha, Darkvision, but also -2 Con.

You could try buying off the Aasimar or Drow's LA using buyoff rules.

06-12-07, 11:09 AM Take any race with a + on Cha and then take the Occult Mutation Trait Midnight Pupils from Dragon #356.

Benifit: Darkvision 60 ft or +60ft to existing Darkvision.
Drawdack: Can only see through Darkvision, this means color blindness and a -2 on Search and Spot in areas brighter than 'shadowy illumination.'

Then take Improved Darkvision as a feat so you can see 120 ft and have the see in the dark ability.

Or go Hellbred eventually I think you see in Magical Darkness also.

The Draconic template gives you both and enough other things to make up for it's +1 adjustment.
