In my current campaign, i have taken a wife, she's rather unusual because I'm a Half-Drow, and she's an Adult Deep Dragon, what would i call my child? Should i just go Deepwyrm H-Drow, or something else?

OH and for those who don't know, a Deep Dragon can change from a dragon to any humanoid x/day. They met at a bar in a Drow outpost, he went to bed with a beautiful Drow woman, woke up next to a 10ft long Deep Dragon. Try telling your drinking buddies that story. In the end, they fell in love, and got married. and now have a son.

yeah, just apply half-dragon to your racial stats with appropriate changes in energy type.

When you met you wife, who was actually a dragon, did you suspect something when she was far, far less frightening then other drow women :P

Not really, to much fire ale. Hangover's are much worse when you find out what you "really" slept with last night in a drunken stupor.

Call it Carl.

Sorry, could not resist.
He would be quarter human, quarter drow, half deep dragon.
Statwise he would probaly be Half Deep Dragon Half Drow.

Why not half half-drow (RoF) half-dragon? No sense it having more drow powers than its father, who has more drow blood than it does.

why not have more drow power than his father who has more drow blood.
He is Deep Dragon which already share some drow like abilities. And this way you can call it a recessive trait.

I'd simply apply the Half-Dragon (deep) template to the Half-Drow race.

i agree to adding the half-dragon template to Drow for the child, using acid as the immunity and breath weapon (it's a cone, right?). it just makes sense, seeing as you can add the half-dragon template to "any living corporeal creature"

hehe! that means you can have half-dragon plants!

What a surprise. I don't know, if that kind of thing would happen to me, I would never go in a bar again.
A dragon isn't that bad. Just think about all the weird disgusting stuff that someone could catch.

I'm somewhat surprised you too got married. I would either run the hell away or just teleport to the next city nearby. That must be one awkward marriage. How do you even go adventuring. She's strong enough to keep you in the house, and could squeeze your organs out of your mouth whenever the whole Dragon Rage thing comes along. (if you're in Fearun). A thought just occured! How do you survive deep dragon PMS? Bum-bum-buhhh.

A dragon marrying a mortal is no biggie for the dragon, I mean the entire length of their marriage until the half-drow dies is like not even fling by dragon standards. Unless of coarse the half-drow gets turned into an undead, then again undeath is almost never a healthy thing for any relationship. :D

Because, in the campaign, firstly, she and my parents are taking care of our child, and secondly, even if she does kill me, then the military will probably slaughter her. To answer your questing on marraige, Love comes in all shapes and sizes.

If you're a mid-to-high level adventurer it shouldn't be a problem to get around this. Just get a wish spell, miracle spell, or ritual (from Savage Species) cast to give you the natural lifespan of your mate.

This will actually be the main plot/goal of the next half-elf character I play.

It's just the half dragon from the monster manual with adjusted breath weapon, immunity and alignment.
You can find it in Draconomicon, Races of the Dragon, and Crystal Keep.
(It seems to be nerfed in RotD and CK)

Actually, the Half-Deep dragon template is in Dragon Magic, i would give it to you, but i do not enjoy the wrath of the higher powers of the moderators and copyright infringement laws. oh and the template is called "Deepwyrm Drow and Half-Deepwym Drow"

Aren't you thinking of Deepwyrm Drow of Faerun and Deepwyrm Half Drow of Faerun?
If you are, then I would say you are wrong (no offence). These are new subraces of Drow and Half Drow which has deepwyrm blood within their veins, but they are not half dragons.
