Lesser Aasimar from Player's Guide to Faerūn get +2 WIS / CHA with a LA +0. Also, as far as I know there is some elven subrace out there with +2 WIS in some splatbook (i think Unaproachable East, but I do not own it).

i think you mean to say Star Elf (unsure) or Grey Orc and you have the correct text listed though i believe there is a LA of 1, perhaps 2. not sure.

thanx, also, if an elf druid "example" is made can he/she use a longsword or is he/she only entitled to the weapon she is proficient with?
peace:thumbsup:

Vanara, in Oriental Adventures, has 0 LA and +2 Wis and Int, but -2 Str... not much of a penalty for a wildshaping druid...

And Lesser Aasimar, as mentioned... (they are outsiders as well, making them (among other things) proficient with simple and martial weapons)...

And an elf is always proficient with longswords, and even if a character is not, he/she can wield it (allthough his/her attacks are at -4 for nonproficiency)...

No, he said that any character can swing a longsword, but if they aren't proficient, they take a -4.

Elves are automatically proficient in the longsword, and druids have no compunctions against metal weapons (just armor ... silly druids), so the elven druid would take no penalties.

Not that it matters, 'cause after 5th level you'll never swing a weapon again.

Druid Cheese: Anthropomorphic Bat, from Savage Species. +6 Wis, penalties to dump stats, small size, fly speed, and a free 1d8 HD, with no LA.*

*Disclaimer: Doing this may earn you a folding chair to the skull.

Lesser Aasimar are not Outsiders (that is the trade-off for dropping the +1 LA in comparison to the "standard" Aasimar).

Anthropomorphic bats lose their 1d8 HD when they take a class level (which is actually a good thing, or they'd take a hit to their class levels as it'd be effectively an LA that grants some hit points).

Vanarra were errata'd to not have any ability score adjustments in 3.5.
