Determining LA for races [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-08-07, 03:43 PM I've gotten pretty close to finishing my first creation (viewable here (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=946514) if you care) and I was told that the LA would be somewhere between +0 and +1.

So, how do you determine LA? What increases it, and what decreases it? Can anyone cite a sourcebook for it? If not, logic works too.

11-08-07, 11:44 PM You can either use the very generalized guidelines in Savage Species (which work for simple races), or you can use YabbaTheWhat's FeaturePoints. FeaturePoints are more complicated but are much more accurate. Don't have the link on me anymore so you can try searching for it. Maybe someone else can post it.
