*Wait, it says Advancement: by character class. Usually when it says that, it has a level adjustment.

08-11-07, 01:24 AM No, that means that when the DM makes it more powerful, it should do so by adding class levels and not racial HD. That has nothing to do with whether or not it's a playable race.

08-11-07, 02:02 AM The Immoth received a +6 LA in the 3.5 update booklet for MM2. That means its Effective Character Level is 16 (10 HD, +6 LA).

Yeah, ignore me then. Apparently they have a +6 LA, making them a playable race with a starting ECL of 16.
