I've seen dragonborn in a lot of classes on the d&d boards, i was wondering what are the benefits of being dragonborn. you know the plus and minus and all abilities they get. And also what book are dragonborns found in so i can do more reading about it.

Dragonborn can be found in races of the dragon, they are mostly intended to be stalwart warriors however they work well as anything that isn't dex dependant.

actually they work well as any class because they gain +2 con -2 dex on top of the original race's old stats. As long as the old race had a bonus to dex, the two will cancel out (this gets pretty sweet when you start making elven sub-races dragonborn).

True, the Wood Elf dragonborn can get a smidge obscene. I had one player who was a half orc Dragonborn Crusader, fun times.

I find Dragonborn to be a very interesting race for two reasons. The first is they are a cross between a template and a race and the second is that they have 3 different sets of racial abilities so that members of the race are often very different from each other mechanically
