| Courrain05-20-07, 01:09 PM | If the 2nd edition Council of Wyrms setting was upgraded to today's 3.5standards, what changes would you like to see in it? *curious* Personally I would like to see: *The Dragon Monster Classes from Dragon Magazines #320 and #332 for the Metallic and Chromatic dragons. The Dragon Monster Classes for the Gem Dragons would have to be designed from scratch using info from the Draconomicon *Sean K Reynolds' Savage Species progression for the Half-Dragon template class. In the original Council of Wyrms setting, Half-Dragons started out looking like a member of their base species before changing into something more draconic. ;) *All of the relevant info seen in the Draconomicon and Dragon Magic books. *A revamped Sorcerer's class where the Draconic Heritage feats are bonus feats. :cool: |
| StevenO05-20-07, 07:41 PM | If playing the Council of Wyrms setting I think it is the 3.5 rules that need to bend more than anything else. I am specifically refering to LA for dragon PCs. To make the setting work you really need to do basic Dragon racial HD equals a class level. At lower levels the lesser species may not need as much XP to advance an age but they could use that XP to actually add class levels. |
| Ace_of_time05-20-07, 08:22 PM | nothing would have to be changed. You could just use the Draconomicon for leveling up the dragons and multi classing and just use the Council of Wyrms story. You might need to reroll same baddies with the new rules but it really wouldn't be that hard. |
