| Platstud07-13-07, 01:12 PM | According to the description, Driders cast spells as a level 6 wizard, sorceror or cleric. Let's say we choose sorceror. If I now add 5 levels of Sorceror, Do I cast as an 11th level sorceror, or as a 5th level sorceror and also as a 6th level sorceror. I know this seems a little odd, but I could see arguments for both sides. |
| PigeonJones1507-13-07, 01:20 PM | The way that I took it is that a character must have 6 levels in any of those classes to actually become a drider. So adding on more class levels in any of those would just increase their current levels. I don't know if this is fact or not, but that's how I've always ruled it. |
| Platstud07-13-07, 01:39 PM | That's not how I read it. I took it to mean that its six racial hit dice granted it spellcasting abilities akin to one of those three classes, but the levels are Aberration, not Sorceror. |
