First, what makes a Deepwyrm Drow differant than a normal Drow?
I believe they are in the Dragon Magic manuel, but poor me does not have it.
I mean what makes them differant physically, mentally, or culturally?
Not looking for stats, just fluff.

Second, would it be reasonable for a Drow Warlock to make his pact with Graz'zt? Afterall, Grazzt does have a Drow (half drow anyway) as a son and general. (good to know not all half-fiend Drow are Draegloths, I can not see a Draegloth being very charismatic, but then again I guess if you got the right person doing it...anyways BACK to my ranting)

Third, would it be reasonable for a Drow with a Grazzt pact to begin to take on characteristics similar to their patron? Physically im talking the black hair, 6th finger and ring of horns (but keep their legs normal for a Drow, only Grazzt can have backwards-bending legs) , stat-wise...im thinking something charisma related? Drow are already fairly charismatic, and Grazzt embodies that trait. If it was reasonable I was thinking about making a cult of them, not a complete subrace, but a fairly large organization probably based out of Grazzt's tri-realm.

Sorry to ask so much at once, I am a scatter-brained individual.

Their skin has purplish highlights and they are the result of an intimate relationship between a deep dragon (who had assumed a humanoid form) and a drow somewhere up a family line. Culturally, not much might be different since often the deep dragons deceive everyone and are never discovered for what they are, if one is though, I'm sure there would be some sort of uproar.

No problem there. A drow can do that as easily as anyone else, although as a GM I would want to havea proper story for that (as I always want).

These are fluff-issues, that only have negative impact, so I don't see anything wrong with it. Btw, what is a "ring of horns"?

And a cult sounds like a great idea. Go for it!

Ok, my first curiosity has been sated.

Now I just have to see about the rest of my questions.:D

Disregaurd my last statement, I did not see the second reply to my original post,

By ring of horns I meant the horns circling Grazzt's head.
Kind of like Darth Maul actually if that gives you a good idea, though the horns are always depicted as black and partly covered by his hair.

In regards to making a pact with Grazzt it is quite reasonable for a drow to do that. It is more likely for a female drow to do so as Grazzt is portrayed as a sexually powerful figure and "Witches" (ie female characters of magical power) have been making dark pacts with him.

However thers nothing stoping a male drow from making some sort of deal with him.

In regards to the deepwyrm drow they dont have any cultre of their own and aside from skin highlights may not even be aware they are different though there are lots of potential problems if their heritage is found out as previously said.

Im not quite sure what Unundindur is wanting me to explain...
All I know to tell you is that Grazzt has short black horns circling his scalp like darth maul, but they are partly covered by Grazzts dark hair.
If thats not what you were asking, tell me, its been a long long day.

When it comes to the size of the cult im thinking sort of a Jaezred Chaulssin like organization. Though it would be mostly female, like the rest of Grazzt's cults. I get kind of a "guys want to be him girls want to be with him" sort of vibe. My main character will be a power hungry charismatic male.
I always thought it would be neat to have his warlock-Drow followers looks like him (except for the backwards-bending legs and the whole 9 foot tall thing) So really the only changes would be a Drow with 12 fingers, the ring of horns, black hair and green eyes. Sounds like a lot, but are minor physical imbelishments, nothing that would effect stats.

Now as for the Deepwyrm Drow...forgive my ignorance but what is meant by purple highlights, are they striped or something?:P
Or are you meaning like those purple skinned Drow people often use in their artwork instead of the obsidian colored ones?

To use it as an art term, highlights describe differences in the amount of "lighter" area of something. Not necessarily striped but... hmm, normally higher points of a figure have less shadow/reflect the most light because the catch the most. Think of looking at a ball that is black, but then think of a custom paint-job that makes the black look purplish at the right angle in the right light... that's what these guys' skin does.

Yeah, they'd look more like the purply skinned drow art examples, especially if they are in a well-lit area but in any low light, they'd probably look the same as normal drow.

Ah, now I understand.
Thank you for taking the time to explain it in simple terms. :D
