as it states in the Speed adjustment for vamps, if they have a swim speed they retain it, but are still effected by running water (1/3 hp every turn!). so if a merfolk/vampire had a HUGE underwater city, couldn't rain over the sea or a PC with a hose on the shore kill it in about say 30 seconds :raincloud ? ive never seen anyone bring this issue up before, and wanted my facts straight!

Of course it's never been brought up before. It is actually in the same sentence as the one you sited.

I could've sworn that a race with a swim speed lost the weakness to water... Oh well, I'll have to check that out later. :shifty:

It says they are immne to submersion in water. They can't cross running water, though. (really dumb when you think about it)
