Harem_Trained 02-27-07, 07:38 PM	As a racial trait Elans (XPH pg. 10) can, as an immediate action, spend power points to either reduce damage taken or increase thier saves. Does this mean I can reduce the damage AFTER my DM tells me I take damage? Or do I have to ready myself to reduce damage. Example (is this correct?) DM: "A troll clubs you for 30 damage." ME: "uh.. I spend X power points and reduce damage by Y." Thank you
Kurama Youko 02-27-07, 07:42 PM	After you dm tells you how much Damage you take, you tell him you want to use your immeditate action to use the ability to spend power points to reduce damage taken. When it comes to the saving throw increasing ability our group usually goes like this. The DM will tell everyone to roll a (insert save type) DC #, we then roll. If my Elan psion result isnt high enough I tell my DM im using my immeditate action to spend some power points to boost my saves. However I do that before I tell him whether my roll past or failed.
