elves as aasimars [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-16-07, 08:53 AM if you were to make an aasimar character that descended from an elf would it still be a +1LA or would it jump up to a +2, now keep in mind being an elf aasimar would give the aasimar +2 to dex char and wis, and a -2 to con. Also this version of the aasimar would get both darkvision and low-light vision, as well as the daylight spell, trapfinding, and the resistances to acid cold and electricity as well as there skill enhancements, is that enough to constitute a +2 or am I save to say with that negative 2 to con and the fact that an elf is a base race who does not get a +1 LA that it evens out at a +1 total. Because I want to make an Elf based Aasimar sorcerer who later becomes an elemental savant.

08-16-07, 08:59 AM To be fair, assimar are not really worth their LA to begin with. I think it should be fine to revise it as a LA+1 template which can be added to any race.
