High Elves
Of all the races of Haven, none can match the grace or distinguish of the High Elves. Their otherworldly beauty and grace has caused them to stand out above all other races on the plane, even in their darkest times.

History
The High Elves of Haven were originally beings from a Fey plane, known as Elysium. This plane, though much like our own, is in the sway of a being known only as the Fey King, Infinite and immortal, the Fey King’s word is law, and all who oppose him are expelled from his world.
The High Elves were originally high ranking nobles in the courts of the Fey King, that is until they began to hear a different calling, being the magic sensitive beings that they were, they began to feel the draw of a different power, possibly even more powerful than the Fey King.
When they tried to explain this to the Fey King, they were expelled from the plane, and became lost in the world of Haven, and were eventually found by the budding race known as the Dragons. Eventually, with the dragons rise to power, the Elves became the Handmaidens and Guards of the Dragons’ great treasure vaults and learned of the magic that had called them: arcane magic. It was also here where they came into contact with a group who would be instrumental in their freedom from the Dragon tyrants: the Dwarves.
The Dwarves were used by the Dragons as the labor force, mining precious gold and silver from the earth. After a millennia of planning and scheming, the Elves and Dwarves finally betrayed the Dragons and, in the first great battle, slew half of the Dragon army and escaped on the Dragons’ own slave ships.
The elves then sailed south into what is known now as Delvana, where they built their own mighty empire.

High Elf Lands
Though the High Elves have many settlements in various wooded areas around Haven, their main city is Delvana, on the continent of the same name, to the south of Malkiva. It is here where they conduct most of the trading with the rest of the known world.

High Elf Racial Traits
The racial traits for a High Elf are the same as the Elf from the Player’s Handbook
except as follows:

• Automatic Languages: Elven, Draconic
• Bonus Languages: Low Elven, Fey, Common
• Favored Class: Sorcerer/Wizard. The first level of either Sorcerer of Wizard that a High Elf takes becomes his favored class.

Tsuran
The Tsuran are a twisted race of Necromongers who wallow in the power of the undead.

History
When the Elves first left Anoreth (the continent of Dragons), there was a dispute as to which way they should go. One group suggested heading South, while the other wanted to go East. The later group, lead by captain Tsura Starlay, broke off from the main group and took their own ship. These elves landed in the continent of Noreserac, where the crashed. Something about the marshes and the evil of the land seeped into the bodies of the Tsurans, as they came to call themselves, and sapped them of their will. They created the floating raft city of Noreserac, where they conduct their twisted necrotic experiments on the dead.

Physical Descriptions
The Tsurans are a hollowed shell of their former splendor, they have developed into thin, scrawny beings with long stringy black hair, usually in dreadlocks, and sunken hollow eyes, which are black with yellow pupils. They’re ears are much longer than a normal elf’s ears, which allow to perceive a little better in the endless dark under the canopy of the massive trees, where the sun never shines.

Personality
The Tsurans are endlessly depressed, when they are not bein sadistic in their experiments. They care about absolutely nothing but their own lives. A millennia of living in the stagnant swamps have dulled the Tsuran’s personality as it has weakened their bodies, though they still possess a keen mind.

Religion
Tsuran’s worship the dead god Tsura Strarlay, who became a god through unknown methods. Tsura Stralay holds rule of the Dead Court, a group of Elder Tsuran liches who rule the Tsuran “empire” of floating city-rafts.

Alignment
Due to their uncaring and unfeeling nature, Tsuran’s are generally True Neutral, though Neutral Evil Tsurans are pretty regular.

Tsuran Lands
Tsuran live on marshy stagnant swamps of Neserac, living on their cirty-rafts, the largest of which is named for the continent. Tsuran’s are rarely seen outside of here, and this is the only permanent Tsuran settlement.

Names
Tsuran choose their name from a very young age, before that they are called whatever their parents decide. Most Tsuran names amy be twisted corruptions of Elven names.
• Male Names: Vesh, Tith, Siriel, Terbon
• Female Names: Silith, Mesri, Nesra
• Last Names: Mordro, Dorneth, Saland, Venvar

Tsuran Racial Traits
A Tsuran’s racial traits are as follows.

• +2 Int, +2 Wis, -2 Str, -2 Con. Tsuran are very wise, but not very strong or very appealing.
• Medium-sized.
• Base land speed: 30ft
• Darkvision up to 50ft.
• Mild Negative Alignment. Tsuran, having lived in the necrotic swamps of Neserac, have becomed suffused in slight negative energy. Because of this, they have gained a little resistance from the effects of negative energy. Tsuran gain +2 resistance to any negative energy attacks. This resistance increases by 2 at levels 5, 10, 15, and 20.
• Positive Energy Aversion. Because of the time spent in the swamps, and because they are so suffused with negative energy, positive energy does not affect the Tsuran as much. If a Tsuran would be healed with positive energy (such as a cleric’s Cure spell), reduce the hit dice of that spell by 1, with a minimum of 1 HP healed. .
• Automatic Languages: Low Elven, Necro. Tsuran speak their own twisted form of Elven, and also the language of the dead.
• Bonus Languages: Elven, Common
• Favored Class: Necromancer (Wizard with Necromancy Subschool).
