I'm working on a race to be the ultimate evil race. My favorite idea so far is a Drow/Orc Crossbreeding. Hated by both races the handful of them left and founded their own home in the underdark. It grew and grew until this group of crossbred/inbred miscreants made a kingdom to rival even the Drow and Illithids.

+4 STR +2 INT -2 WIS
120ft Darkvision
Spell Like Abilities: Darkness, Faerie Fire 1/day
Spell Resistance 5+ Class Levels
+2 to will saves versus spells
Proficiency with Hand crossbows and Or double axes
Languages: Undercommon, Common, Orc
Light Blindness
Rage 1/day
Favored Class: Any

+4 STR +2 INT -2 WIS

There's no way +4 strength is flying with me. They are part drow, who no matter how "cool" they may seem, are still scrawny little elves. I'd say change it to +2 strength, +2 Dexterity.

Okay, this all sorta makes sense.
Languages: Undercommon, Common, Orc
Light Blindness
Rage 1/day
Favored Class: Any

THe light blindness should be light sensitivity, but...why favored class any? That's pretty much a human/half-human thing only. The rage 1/day doesn't seem to mesh either, I know you're trying to make them more orcish but orcs don't get it so... (Unless you've tampered with orcs in your campaign).

LA is looking like a +1.

Sounds good to me.

Its light blindness because they have never even peaked outside the underdark

The favored Class is mainly something I hadnt figured out.
Is there a way to do either or without the gender entering into it? They cant have real clerics, because they dont have a particular god. Nither pantheon is particularly fond of this crossbreed.

Rage is because of there inherent wildness which is really just flavor so i could go either way.

So in review heres an updated version.

+2 STR +2 DEX +2 INT -2 WIS
120ft Darkvision
Spell Like Abilities: Darkness, Faerie Fire 1/day
Spell Resistance 5+ Class Levels
+2 to will saves versus spells
Proficiency with Hand crossbows and Orc double axes
Languages: Undercommon, Common, Orc
Light Blindness
Favored Class: Sorcerer or Barbarian

They look like they'd make good rogues.

One ring for the Dorc lord on his Dorc throne...

Why SR 5+CL? Either make it 10-11 +CL, or drop it totally. The Dorcs are still living in the same conditions that originally led to the Drow's SR, why shouldn't they get the full benefit?

Probably because they're only half drow... you know, like the half elf that gets dark vision instead of low light... ;)

I'm working on a race to be the ultimate evil race. . .
Variant human with a charisma bonus... tends toward Lawful evil... their patron could be a wizard who killed a god... like Vecna or something... Drop them on a plane with slightly higher than material plane gravity (enhances strength over time) and with a faster relative time (group can develop a civilization of centuries in a few decades) and then they come back and own the rest of the material plane... :evillaugh

...I kind of like your idea too...

I think that a great addition to a "ruling" race is some type of chrysalis aspect, where the race changes into something better once a member of the race develops sufficiently.

There is no such thing as "ultimate evil." There is no such thing as "ultimate" anything. Christ. It's like all those people who think that humans are "evolving towards perfection."

Enough philosophy.

This race, as presented, is balanced. It's fine.

If you want to create a truly "ultimate evil" race, start with the Negative Energy Plane or the Plane of Shadow.
