Temroc 10-07-07, 10:27 PM	I was looking over EoE, and noticed a couple of problems with HD. There seemed to be several of the NPCs in there that had what appeared to be "Racial HD", but were humanoids that shouldn't have Racial HD. In the first NPC section, for example, Zargath Human-Bane is listed as an Orc Rogue 4, but also listed as having 5HD. Grikfell, an Orc Fighter 2, has 3HD. And even Gurn Sirensong, a Gnome Wizard 2/Rogue 1, has 4HD listed. Is this an error from the people at Wizards, or are racial HD for Orcs and Gnomes a coming thing for 4e? Or am I just wrong in thinking Orcs and Gnomes do not have Racial HD...
GnomeNinja5 10-07-07, 10:35 PM	In the most recent podcast, the people scoffed at Racial Hit Dice in 4E. So don;t count on it as a preview. Probably either a slip-up, or a retard who added some wizard and rogue levels to the Gnome in the MM.

If you'll notice, each character has 1 more "HD" than their number of class levels - whoever wrote it may have assumed that each character starts with 1 racial HD and adds 1 HD for each class level taken. Which makes no sense at all. In other words, they probably had no idea what they were doing.
