| Bull-of-the-Pit11-20-07, 07:48 PM | Dragon #354 has a pretty good write up of modrons, but I do have one question. It lists "rogue modrons" as being from any caste (tridrone and higher), but makes a point of saying they are attacked on sight by any normal modrons. "Exiled modrons" don't appear to have this problem, and are actually 'living constructs'...but what, exactly, do they look like? I'm using the standard, well-known form (box with face on one side, two arms, two legs, itty-bitty wings), but the write up says "Exiled modrons are not from any caste." It only lists size and weight (Medium-size), not any description. The traditional form most closely cooresponds to a duodrone, but that caste is Small-sized. A quadrone is the next six-sided caste of Medium-size, but they have a face on each side, and four pairs of arms (not listed in the racial attributes of the exiled modron). So, are exiled modrons simply duodrones of unusual size? |
