04-23-07, 03:06 PM i am looking for a feral race to use as pc race.
if you have an idea they has to follow some rules.

the racial hd + the la may not be more than 2
there are no more rules

Apply the feral template to any race. it is now feral
Feral gargun from races of stone, it has a La of +2 and a 4 racial hitdie. Good thing about their hit die though, they are given in the form of a monster class so its easy to do.

So you need a race with 0 racial HD, since a character with only 1 HD replaces it with his first class level HD.

i dindent know about that rule

04-25-07, 07:42 AM Doesn't sound like such a good idea imo. 2 racial HD (and some of the worst at that -3/4 progression is as bad as 1/2 in this case, 1 good save 2+int skill points and horrible list), LA +1, and lackluster abilities... There are much better options, I'd say.

04-25-07, 05:06 PM A) Gnolls are a nice to roleplay race, and are present in almost every D&D world. I play them quite often, because they really ARE fun to play. Just believe me.
B) Gnolls get a nice bonus to STR and CON, making them a good choice, even with 2 HD and +1 LA
C) if that's not enough bang for your buck, try the flind gnoll from MM3. Better ability boni, 2 HD +2 LA... if you use a LA buyoff system, they rock !
d) gnolls are sexy.

04-25-07, 07:13 PM You know, I thought Ihad some weird tastes ;) . Seriously, if 2 HD/2 LA is not a problem, why not just get yourself a nice wee half-dragon (human, dwarf, orc, gnome, whatever you choose).
