I've read through Races of Stone and I enjoy the in depth information on the races. However, in an upcoming game I will be playing a Forest Gnome (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/gnome.htm#forestGnome)

I've searched for more in depth information, but other than the fact that they're shorter, live in the woods, and live longer, I can't find any "official" information on them. Can anyone help me here? If not, no worries. I'm not sure how different Forest gnomes would be than their standard cousins. I'm thinking that they'd be less of a tinker-er given the environment. What do you guys think?

Leprechaun

Seriously, They would obviously have communities in the forest, perhaps utilizing their Burrowing animal buddies as scouts against intruders in the forest.

Otherwise the tinkering might still be there as they're curious of outside technology perhaps.

They are slightly more powerful than the standard Gnome. Its OK though, as their advantages don't actually throw anything out of balance. Its more of a role-playing variant. Have fun.
