I think I found out how to tell how long a half and full race lives. Using Half-Elves and Elves, divide a full race age by 2.8 to get a half race age. Or, for full, times by 2.8. I found this out when I needed to find out how long one of my players orc would live. What do you think?

Yes, I looked at this with my Half-breed template, and what your saying is true for this one example.

However, unfortunately we only have the Half-Elf to look at, so I slighty modified it. I did so for 2.8 is rather odd number. I neither think it is trully that strictly taken, for even though medium, old and venerable are respective to one another (1/2, 3/4, and 1) adulthood is again rather arbitrary around 1/5. Thus, I tried it more rulewise, which you can see in that topic, though I give in this makes the Half-Elf 140 years of age and adult at about 23. You may dislike this, of course.

In your case Orcs will live longer than Half-Orcs. However, I think from the Orc entry it was said they live short. Therefore I rather use a combination of both races their venerable age. Thus in this system of mine, an Orc would be venerable at 50 (thus adult at about 12, medium 25, old 38)

The problem with this is, a half-breed is (normally ;) ) no template, but a mixture of two races. So just because the age relations between humans, half-elves and elves is what it is does not mean there is a rule to ALL half-breeds that can be deducted from this example. It wouldn't work for the orcs, for example. After all, as Arscura said, Orcs age faster than humans, and also faster than half-orcs by extension.

Well, it isn't really a template, but I didn't know what to call it otherwise.
It is a said of rules to make, at least, human - other race combinations. Hopefully later more. So, it is not like a template you smack upon a human and call it a base creature, but I do not know how to call it otherwise... open for suggestions though... if in the other forum, for we derail this one ;)
