Which 1 Hit Die construct? The abilities are quite dependent on size, as constructs get bonus hp based on that. However, assuming a nonmindless (but still immune to mind-affecting effects) Medium construct with no other traits, I'd say LA +3 (ECL +4) because of the bonus hit points.

This is not the value of the traits alone, you can't go give it all the elan abilities and just add +1 LA to it. Abilities stack, overlap, and do odd things that make LA very difficult to formulate.

05-20-07, 08:13 PM Well, according to Savage species (tis 3.0, but it's still relatively valid) the construct type is worth LA +1.

Soldarin's ECL Calculator doesn't apply a level adjustment for constructs...

Personally, I go with LA +1 (just for the construct type), though counting it as a +1/2 (and able to be rounded down) would be reasonable with the right (sufficiently weak) abilities.
