1. It needs a dex score. A Dex score of -- implies that it cannot move. As it has a Fly speed, it also has a Dex score.

2. Ability scores must be in even numbers. It's either a +6 Int mod or a +8 int mod.

3. Perfect maneuverability with no real penalties for psionic races? That alone will make it LA +4 or higher.

4. Please feed your text through A. A word processor and B. A spell checker.

All the words are spell checked and they did go threw a word prossesser with the exeptions a afew additions i forgot about and is there any other way to make it balance? also the lack of dex is made up for by the fact that this race moves itself with its psionic Abilities. And as for the Even plus's( sorry for that) is that paricularly a big del if it is I'll cut it down to +6

Why not just change the unbodied (Expanded Psionics Handbook page 215-216) into a conporeal creature and remove its racial hit die and manifester levels.

As the Expanded Psionics Handbook was added to the SRD you should be able to get the stats online.

You really need to explain the abilities significantly more.

I apologize for that I shall work on it and post it again if thats what you want?

They can project a psionic illusion (can be seen threw with a DC 20 Psi-craft) to mask that they are brains. The illusion is of human 30 years old and wearing traveler’s cloths and of their specific gender

Elaborate on this.

Abilities
Carrying load: Int mod determines as if it were strength
Reflex save: Int mod determines
Strength based skill checks: Int mod determines

This. You know why? Because if you can interact with the world, then you have a Strength score.

Interaction with the world: they interact with the world threw psionic Ability as in lifting things with their mind and such.

Elaborate on this.

Armor: they cannot wear armor and all magical items are Reduced and slid onto the Brainstem can only equip the standard characters maximum

Rewrite this so that it makes sense. It's largely incoherent right now. No offense.

Movement: There speed is determined by their int modifier as well ad their maneuverability

<-3 = poor
-2 threw 0 = Decent
0 threw +2 = Average
+2< = Perfect
( willing to change)

Speed= (int mod/2)*10

AC: Int mod determines

None of this is relevent, as the Giant Brain has a Strength and Dex score because it can move and interact with the world.

Bonus Power Points: 5 Psi driven race

Please reword for clarity.

Here it is sorry for the bad wording and my unability to explain earlier

Brains

Looks: These Creatures are giant floating spherical brains. They lack eyes and all manner of limbs with the exception of a small brain stem.

Characteristics: these creatures float about 5ft from the ground and are generally grey; they have no discerned difference between male and female however they seem to tell.
They can project a psionic illusion (can be seen threw with a DC 20 Psi-craft) to mask that they are brains. The illusion is of human 30 years old and wearing traveler’s cloths and of their specific gender

Stats
Strength = non existent( it shall be determined by int for almost all purposes)
Dex = Non Existent (it shall be determined by int for almost all purposes)
Int = + 7
Con = -2 ( their Giant Brains
Wis = +2
Cha = -4

Abilities
Carrying load: Int mod determines as if it were strength
Reflex save: Int mod determines
Strength based skill checks: Int mod determines

Blind sense 60ft: they sense the world via psionic pulses that surge from them when they wish to see.

Interaction with the world: they interact with the world through psionic Ability as in lifting things with their mind and such they for the most part don’t have limbs.

Armor: they cannot wear armor and all magical items are Reduced and slid onto the Brainstem can only equip the standard characters maximum their ability to do that allows the items in question to be stolen easier but it also allows them to gain advantage from them.

Movement: Their speed is determined by their int modifier as well as their maneuverability The reason for this is that they psionicaly float threw the air they are unable to rise further the 10 ft by this method if a class ability increases this or if they are subjected to the fly spell this limiter is removed

<-3 = poor
-2 threw 0 = Decent
0 threw +2 = Average
+2< = Perfect
(willing to change)

Speed= (int mod/2)*10

AC: Int mod determines
Bonus Power Points: 5 because they are a race that is driven primarily by psionics
Favored Class: Psion
Damage is not increased by int and Initiative isnt either

You didn't change anything, as far as I can tell...

By the way, it's "through" ... not "threw" ... "threw" means "to throw something" ...

With Int +6, and Int determining all physical abilities, it basically amounts to Str +6, Dex +6, Con -2, Int +6, Cha -4
calronmoonflower

You should specify that they interact with the world by telekinesis. The part on that should say how they carry their load, how the move, and other interaction with the world. Like pulling a level.

If you drop Int. to +6 the stats should be balanced.
Generally your giant brain would have flight with good-perfect maneuverability, that is worth +2.

I'll change the Interaction in a lot of areas
1. Int for Str only works on carrying loads,To hit and not skill based Str Checks

2. Int for Dex only works on ranged to hit,Ac, Reflex, And feats that require a certain dex

3. the movment ablility counts as long as your within 10 ft of a solid object such as a cliff, the ground, a bridge, a boat, Water ext.

4. -2 to all illness based fort saves: they dont have skin.

5. May weild a weapon via telekinesis: up to 2 if you have the two weapon fighting feat.

So, thanks to their prodigious Int score, for almost all purposes, they have:

Str +6/+8, Dex +6/+8, Con -2, Wis +2, Int +6/+8, Cha -4

Still rather absurd stat adjustments.

listen the only thing that the strength and dex scores are powerful for are feats, AC, To hits, and Lifting things.

Also might I add that these things can't equipt armor so they will need all the AC they can get and that they dont add anything to weapon damage eather and all skills that invalve those 2 stats are just straight d20 plus rank

Also is anyone besides these 2 gonning to comment? Just out of curiosity because i belive the more opinians you get on something the better as long as the opinion is educated.

First off I would like to say I am not great at balancing races. However, this is bound to be LA +4 through LA +6. You have made the perfect psion class, really the perfect anything class. Take swashbuckler for example, you get a giant bonus to attacks, a giant bonus to damage, flying, and tons of skill points. The ONLY downside is the inability to wear armor. That is easily overcome with bracers of armor, amulets of natural armor, and that bonus to AC. This is an extremely powerful race.

Also it's helpful if all edits you make are put on the original post, and it is still difficult to understand what you mean by everything.

I don't think a brain can wear much in the way of magic items.

Curses and I was hoping this was a discussion of the brains of giants. Having spilled many in my adventuring years I've always wondered if they were larger than a humans brain and a wide variety of other random things this could imply about their mental abilities.
As far as your race goes it is both unbalanced and flavorless [unlike brains themselves]. While letting one attribute is normally the function of a feat this race would be able to use it's Int to replace everything but Constitution, wisdom, and charisma. This is a problem on dozens of levels. It would make increasing their Int score an all consuming goal, and while wizards do the very same thing they suffer consequences for doing so. THIS IS TOO POWERFUL, change it or drop it completely.
Secondly as has been mentioned many times in this thread uneven ability score increases are never used for races, change it to an even number. You must conform!
My last objection is one of flavor. The race has no reason for existing as far as alignment, world outlook, or even a favored class. This gives the entire effort an amateur feeling and makes your race nothing more than a string of numbers.
I would scrap the race completely and work from a concept stage, rather than a purely statistical manner. Good luck.

They're giant brains, the answer isn't exactly rocket science, especially with psionic races already existing in the game.

How do they interact with Illithids?:D

And I agree with everyone else-INT for absoloutly everything is bad. Plus-this is an unbodied.

So. It's only used 99% of the time, and therefore it balances out? Nope. That ain't kosher.

Usable at will? What's the maximum lifting capacity? Can I use it to violently throw items? How many different items can I hold at once? What's the range? Can I hold water up with it?

I hope the new one is balance more.

Like calronmoonflower said, what you basically want is an Unbodied (XPH) without the incorporeal trait. So, the Unbodied has 4 monstrous humanoid dice, and an LA of +4, making for a ECL of 8...the question being, if we removed the incorporeality, how low would the LA drop?

Also...sort of off topic...if an incorporeal creature has telekinesis, doesn't that mean the telekinesis only has a 50% chance of working, due to the incorporeal creature's 50% miss chance with it's magical attacks against corporeal targets (or am I remembering that wrong)?

incorporeal creatures spells and powers normally on other incorporeal and corporeal creatues.
