| Xeres05-31-07, 08:01 PM | how long does a githzerai live?? I am just curious although aging is hardly ever used in any campaign I tend to run one of my characters through many ages of the same campaign world. |
| Thomar_of_Uointer05-31-07, 09:41 PM | This information is found in the Expanded Psionics Handbook. I'd post it, but it's not Open Content. |
| Cariyaga05-31-07, 09:44 PM | You're allowed to post small things like this, so long as you don't do something like post all of the races life spans in there. |

| Cariyaga05-31-07, 10:55 PM | They would let you post the life span, methinks. |
| Thomar_of_Uointer06-01-07, 12:22 AM | They would let you post the life span, methinks. Well, I'd like some kind of official approval. Until then, I'd recommend the OP go buy the book (it's a nice system, just remember to rewrite all the flavor text). |
| MushroomSpore06-01-07, 12:26 AM | The aging table I got from the fan-made Planescape update, which is presumably the ORIGINAL gith table, is as follows: Adulthood (equivalent to humans at 15) starts at 30. Middle-aged is from 125 to 166. Old is from 167 to 250. Venerable lasts until they die of old age, at 250 + (random rolled number between 1-100) years. The 3rd edition is much less, for some reason. Bah. I stick to the old-school ways. :P |
| Perun06-01-07, 02:20 AM | For starting age, use human values. As for aging effects, githzerai (and githyanki) live slightly longer than dromites. That is, it takes them slightly longer to enter Middle age, and a still a bit more to become venerable. Otherwise, they're identical :) What MushroomSpore posted is form the original githzerai age and aging effects table from 2e Planescape accessory, Planewalker's Handbook (p. 81). |
