That's right. Give me your best Gnomish Gnames. :3

One of my favorites...

"'ello! M'names Handy. Y'know. Handy wiff a tool, Handy wiff a knife. I'm Handy, I'm -verreh- Handy if ya like yer Hand'see's. *holds blade to his victim's wrist*."

Good times...good times.

Good to know that only bored people visit my threads. =P

Nicknames are also welcome, because if you've ever played a gnome, you know that by adult age they have (on the norm) roughly 11 or so nicknames!

I liked the cleric or mage in Wizardry V, Gibbly Gedook or something like that. Sounded cool in a Obi Wan Kenobi way.

Never was a huge Arcana guy...more like just the playful Cantrips of the bard kind of fella.

Got any more wonderfully unique names out there? C'mon, people. I -know- more people play Gnomes than they let on.

It's more for an halfling or human, but that would work fine for a gnome rogue or thug; Bruny le Surin. It's a pun on the canadian athlete and the french slang word for dagger, 'surin'. :D :P

Shortned name for one of my gnomish characters was "Zook Nook Da'book." Or something like that.

I think they'd be like dwarves, where their names have words in them.

Are you talking about adjectival naming?

Or are you thinking of semantically transparent naming?

Example: Cunning-minded, red-voiced, the beloved of time, son of Ilyan of the silent harp of the great house of Zolann

That is the rough english translation of the male Zil name I gave.

one of my old favorites was:

Class Jumplaw

it looks retarded on paper, but if you say it outloud it has a nice ring/swagger to it (in my humble but accurate opinion :-P)
