Skill Points at Each Level 6 + Int modifier Darkstalker (Ex): A first level goblin paragons gets a +2 bonus on Hide and Move Silently checks. In addition, add 30 ft. to the goblins racial darkvision. Precise (Ex): Beginning at 2nd level, choose one class that gains precision based damage dice (I.E., rogue for sneak attack, scout for skirmish or sniper shot, etc.). This does not need to be a base class, and you don't have to have actual levels in the class to gain the extra damage, but once chosen the extra damage cannot be changed*. Add 2 to your levels in this class to determine your precision based damage. Ability Boost (Ex): At 3rd level, a goblin paragon's Dexterity score increases by 2 points. *Outside of retraining, with the DM's permission. |
| Pangeon04-24-07, 09:19 PM | I like. The speed bonus at 1st level is a little much, though, IMO. I'd replace it with a skill bonus, mayhaps. Also, your chart is a little wonky (might want to fix that.) I'm enjoying all the paragon classes you're posting, by the way, not just the Goblin Paragon. Good job. :D |
| FreAkOuTRG04-25-07, 06:20 AM | I suppose I could give them another +2 move silently and ride, but I would prefer the speed bonus... Would 5 ft. be too much? |
| The_Shaman04-25-07, 11:46 AM | I do not see why they should have it, to be honest. I mean, they are already among the very few small creatures with a MS of 30 feet, no need to make them quicker than elves or humans. Something like a favored enemy or reflecting their tendency to fight in the dark, such as extended darkvision. Perhaps you could couple it with a bonus to hide checks or bonus to spot and listen in low-light conditions? |

| SilverFoxKnows04-25-07, 11:04 PM | I thought you meant the +30 was to Darkvision range. If you like faster movement you could take away Stealthy (+2 Move Silently/+2 Hide) and give them Dash (+5 movement). They already have a +4 to MS (racial) a +4 to Hide (small size) and a +2 to Dex (+4 by 3rd). Either way, I dig it. Goblins rock and you did a nice job. |
