Hello all. This may be a blast form the past, or may have been discussed in days long past but my Google-foo has not resulted in any good related topics.

My question is... What Level Adjustment would you assign to a "Godling" racial template that basically granted Divine Rank 0.

This would grant: (a few modifications from Deities & Demigods)
* Hit Dice: Maximum HP per HD
* Speed: Base land speed 60'
* AC: AC bonus (inc. touch & incorporeal) equal to Cha mod.
* Immunities: Transmutation, Energy Drain, Ability Drain, Ability Damage, Mind-Affecting Effects
* Damage Reduction: Lists DR 35(+Rank)/+4 but would need to be converted to something like DR 35/magic or DR 10/epic.
* Energy Resistance: ER (fire) 20
* Spell Resistance: SR 32
* Immortality: Cannot die from natural causes (including massive damage from natural causes); does not age past early adulthood. May only die in combat.
* Metabolism: Godlings DO Need to eat, sleep and breath.

I am thinking LA +6 or +7.

Thoughts?

I think that would be about right, though I guess spell resistance should be scaling :)

I agree whole heartedly. If I actually use this concept it will get toned down to meet 3.5 expectations. I would likely make the SR, ER and DR all scaling similar to other races and/or feats. However, I wanted to get the ballpark LA figure before I start tweaking the concept because I also want to add the ability to have a single higher-than-normal ability score (probably a +4 or +6 to one ability score of choice), which will also increase the LA appropriately.

This is to fill the rare niche for games revolving around ideas like Heracles (Hercules), Cu Chulain, Gilgamesh, etc.

they did an update heres the changes.
Hit Dice: Maximum HP per HD
speed: depending on size. medium biped 60ft base
imunity to: transmutation, energy drain, ability damegde, mind-affecting effects
damage redution 10/epic
resistance to fire 5
spell resistance 32
Immortality: Cannot die from natural causes (including massive damage from natural causes); does not age past early adulthood. May only die in combat.

besides they never had thier charisma bonus as abonus to ac
it was thier divine rank
and they do NOT need to eat, sleep, or breathe and never had to.
but yes i think it would be la +6, what would the cr be?

CR is often about LA / 2 or ECL / 2, so I think CR from +2 to +4 would be a nice estimation.
