Goliath Weapon/armor question [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-24-07, 03:59 PM Are Goliaths considered having weapon familiarity with the Goliath battle hammer? It doesn't say they do in Races of Stone, but since many other races do get these, was it just a simple omission? And, if so, could a Goliath druid wield one and still be considered proficient?

Also, are they proficient with Mammoth leather, featured in the same book and mentioned as being made by Goliaths?

09-24-07, 04:22 PM No on both counts. They have to use feats to become proficient. Unless there is errata somewhere that says different.
