hey whats going on. Made a Goliath character that is based on grappling. he is a 1 monk / 5 fighter / 5 reaping mauler / 8 soul eater. pretty much just wondering how big the unarmed damage would be. since it says the race is medium but is considered large or something like that was wondering if the unarmed damage is 1d6 or 1d8?

According to CustServ, creatures with powerful build do not get improved unarmed strike damage. It's silly, I know. The rationale is that they can use weapons for their size as a baseline, and it's not quite normal for them to take advantage of it or something.

Every time I make something with powerful build, I add a note that makes it improve unarmed and natural attack damage.

The rationale is that unarmed strike is based of your base size. Powerful build only makes you count as 1 size larger for a very narrow list of benefits(which are explicitly listed), and improving unarmed strike damage is clearly not one of them.

Feel free to houserule otherwise though.:)
