Goliaths Lawfull? [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-27-07, 09:52 PM Acording to the WoTC preview of races of stone, Goliaths are usually lawful aligned. This is all well and good, but there favored class is barbarian... eh?

08-28-07, 02:11 AM According to Races of Stone, Goliaths are usually True Neutral with a slight tendency toard chaos, and a slight reference for good over evil. Besides, all six of the deities given in the Goliath panteon are True Neutral.

Alignment: Goliaths have a slight tendency toward chaotic alignments, which is reflected in their wanderlust and the small, mobile communities in which they live. Still, each goliath tribe has one or more adjudicators that settle disputes within the clan, and such goliaths are generally lawful. Goliaths have a slight preference toward good over evil, since among the high mountain peaks, survival becomes much easier when one aids a fellow goliath without insisting on recompense.

That clearly refers to these tribal "adjudicators" as being the lawful ones, not the general Goliath populace.

Read it to say As such not And such.

Hence the phrase "... as such, Goliaths are generally lawful"

it says "and such Goliaths are generally lawful". Referring to the adjudicators.
