Goliaths (Races of Stone) [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-05-07, 02:06 PM I've been working with a friend to try and put together a Goliath Stonespeaker Guardian, but we've noticed that the book seems to lack height-weight-age tables for that particular race. It includes them for the other new races introduced in the book, such as the Chaos Gnome, but neither the "other races" chapter, which has the charts, nor the Goliath chapter itself seems to contain the information. Likewise, a few hours searching for it both here in the forums and through the articles on the website both ended up fruitless. I don't suppose anyone knows where I can track this info down so I can put the final finishing touches on the character?

07-05-07, 04:32 PM You can use the information listed for the Feral Gargun (page 86), as their descriptive text is very similar to that of the regular Goliath.

07-05-07, 04:40 PM Aye. I hate improvising like that when I don't absolutely have to, but in this case, it looks like my only option. Will simply have to make do, and shake my first haughtily at the game designers for including such a gross oversight! *laugh* thanks.

07-05-07, 05:24 PM See the button that says Search at the top on that little bar up there? The next time you have a question, please use it first (or try google). This question has been asked more times than I can count, and it gets annoying when people ask the same question over and over again. :)

07-05-07, 06:08 PM Gah. Actually, I wasn't aware of the search function on these forums. The last time I'd asked someone about it, I was told it had been disabled (and, well, I really don't spend alot of time here). I did spend several hours trying to manually dig through threads for the information, though, and a few more running through old articles on the main website, hoping it had been adressed in an Ask Wizards or the like, to no avail. Believe me, creating this account and actually posting a thread was a last resort. So really, there was no need to be a dick about it.

I was just telling you about how the search function exists exactly for this reason. It's okay if you've never noticed or used it before. I'm just telling you so that you now know.
Alternatively, sometimes to the search does go down or something, and in that case, usually what people do is do an advanced google search, using the board in question as the domain for the search.

Unlike most of the other post I've made on these boards recently, no dickery was intended here, only the spreading of information. :)
