| Pandapeep07-11-07, 01:02 AM | What book does the Half Ogre appear in? I can't find it in the MM 3.5, MM 2, or 3, and I'd like to make a Half Orge char, help? Also, random, off topic (in my own thread, in the first post no less!) Any one here remember Quicklings? Have they ever been updated to 3.5? |
| runestar07-11-07, 01:07 AM | Races of destiny |
| Regular_K07-11-07, 01:13 AM | It can also be found in Savage Species |
| pres_man07-11-07, 01:24 AM | It can also be found in Savage Species The LA should be bumped up to +2 though. |
| runestar07-11-07, 01:44 AM | The RoD version supercedes the SS version.:) |
| AMGriffin07-11-07, 02:14 PM | There are three ways to make a half-ogre/human... Use the LA+2 Half-ogre from races of destiny. Use the LA+1 Half-ogre from the dragonlance campaign setting. Apply the LA+1 half-ogre template (which you can find on crystalkeep) to a human. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, I suppose. |
| JellyPooga07-11-07, 02:38 PM | Hee hee, I like Half Ogres. They make good Monks. |
| zook1shoe66607-11-07, 03:48 PM | Hee hee, I like Half Ogres. They make good Monks. they make good beat-sticks |
| Shadowfax707-11-07, 03:49 PM | Apply the LA+1 half-ogre template (which you can find on crystalkeep) to a human.Do they get Powerful Build or are they considered Large size with this template? |
| Sul_Zain_Aserbet07-11-07, 07:13 PM | If your DM isnt aware of the RoD version, tell him you got it from Savage Species. |
| Borris07-11-07, 08:59 PM | Trying to trick your DM is never a good idea. The version from Races of Destiny is the latest, and thus the official one. It's also the only version that's 3.5. |
| AMGriffin07-12-07, 12:20 AM | Do they get Powerful Build or are they considered Large size with this template? Medium and small size creatures go up one size. You get a +10' to your movement speed too I think. |
