I am referring to the wonderful, short, furry, non-human race (also known as the Ga'shta) created by H Beam Piper for a series of Sci Fi books published in the 60s. A young player in our game has re-discovered these old stories, and would love to be one. I recall that some older versions of D&D had templates for this race (among other things they can talk in frequencies to high for normal humans ears). For some reason involving the death of the author, the original book is not copyrighted (and are in fact in the Gutenberg project library). I know several computer games had this race as character race. I do not know if the race was added to some TSR module or was an article in the Dragon, but any suggestion you might have for finding a template (or hints on creating one), would be appreciated!
