Help with Warforged [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-15-07, 11:57 AM So I want to include the warforged race into the Forgotten Realms setting. I already have a storyline set up on how they got there (they were originally created by a Netherese wizard, but when Netheril fell, they were catapulted into another plane of existence, known now as Mechanicus. Basically, a law-aligned machine place, where warforged and a few other mechanical creatures reside.

But unfortunately, due to me being poor and the fact that I don't have an inclination to do a game in Eberron, I'm kinda lacking in the stats department.

So I basically need the warforged template thingie and their traits and stuff. :D

I'll repeat, I'm too poor to go burn $30-$40 to go buy the Eberron campaign setting just for one race :weep:

Please help me!

03-15-07, 12:16 PM Unless warforged are in the SRD, I do not think they could be posted stat wise due to copy-write issues.

03-15-07, 12:28 PM No- Stat blocks for you. You will need to purchase the ECS, RoE, or MMIII.

03-15-07, 12:49 PM You could always go to your local bookstore ( I would suggest avoiding actually gaming stores for what I am about to suggest as they tend to really frown on the following) with a notebook and a pen and copy the stats right out of the book. The bigger stores don't tend to care to much if you do this, especially if you have 2 or 3 dollars to spend on a drink from the cafe.

03-15-07, 12:49 PM Also, in case you didn't know (this is a common misperception of the warforged by many), warforged are in no way mechanical. Well, at least no more than we humans are (even less, actually).

They are just like solid golems, but instead of being made of a single material, their bodies are comprised of a few (stone, wood, metal, etc).
