| MindWorX04-11-08, 12:20 PM | Hey, I have a player who have just contracted Werewulf, and I'd like to have a step by step on how to deal with this. I've done the initial fortitude save, and he failed, but without knowing what he was fighting, he haven't given it any thought, and I'd like to know how to proceed now? I see something with an involuntary change, but how many of those, if he fails his wisdom checks to know what's going on? Also, what next when he knows? Does he keep getting involuntary changes at fullmoon? I really just need a full step by step, and some suggestions on how to run. I have an idea of having him kill alot of people on the first one, and then make my group have to investigate the killings. I think it's classic, but it's going to work great i think. None of the players knows he's inflicted yet, not even off-game. - Nikolaj "MindWorX" Mariager |

Afflicted lycanthropy is one of the more difficult conditions to handle and it's also one of the more disruptive ones. |

If the player wants to be a werewolf I'd recommend that he loses his warlock levels over time (one a week?) as he gains werewolf LA/levels. The fluff reasoning could be that the lycanthropy rips through his body, lessening his link to his arcane prowess. |
| soulphantum04-18-08, 07:14 AM | There is no reason to lose his warlock levels. As soon as the lycanthropic level adjustment is over, he can even continue taking levels in warlock. O and btw, warlocks powers are not arcane, they are eldritch based. |
