Fenrir_Greyback 09-27-07, 02:37 PM	How tall does something have to be before it is classified as a medium creature? I'm designing a tallfellow weretiger sorceror and it just seems stupid (or nonsensical I guess it would be) to me to have a weretiger not being a medium creature.
Reikei 09-27-07, 03:09 PM	Look at Table 2-4: Creature Sizes, page 29 of the Dungeon Masters Guide. The max height of a small creature is 4 ft.
Fireclave 09-27-07, 03:46 PM	A lycanthrope becomes the size of the base creature when they transform. Therefore, a weretiger in hybrid or animal form becomes a large creature. So a tallfellow weretiger would suddenly switch from small to large when he transforms. Have fun :D
Silverclaw 09-27-07, 04:12 PM	The animal you chose for the lykanthrope template must be within one size category of the base creature, so a hafling weretiger can simply not happen... but that is of course only what lhe rules say, and what really matters is what your DM says, and i cant see why it schould not be allowed (exept perhaps that the MM says so) and tallfelows are close to being medium anyway...

When you're right, you're right. I thought there was a clause that that in there, but I missed it. @Fenrir_Greyback: Being a wereleopard would work just as well. Actually, that would work out even better because you'd have fewer racial HD.
