People don't know how the Horcling came to be some say it started with an Orc who was to stupid to remember standard Orc procedure Rape, Kill and Plunder. Halflings will tell ya a couple of halflings lost a bet, Orcs will tell you that "I thought it was a child, I swear." The most common belief is that the local sperm banks were switched by an evil, sick, twisted, no good, knaving and just plain strange prankster. Horcling are short like Halflings but stronger and tactless. They are a peculilar kind who are outcasts to all races besides the occasional orc-tribe who believes there just an a well porpotioned orc migate. A Horcling is created inside a Halfling female the reverse cannot happen.

Personality: Horclings are ussually always angry becuase they look so ugly but believe they should always be looking good. They love competiveness and are ruthless they won't hesitate to insult you and if losing a argument jump on your face and start stabbing you. All of there jokes are cruel and unusual, they love war and the thrill of watching an enemy overestimate them while they cut them down. They are very greedy much like Orcs and Halflings. There are some exceptions to these traits but a typical outcast is nuetral evil doing anything he can get away with.

Physical Description: Horclings are ussually 3 to 3 and a half feet tall slightlly taller than a halfling. Horcling weight around 55-90 pounds becuase of there muscle. There skin tone is ussually dusty brown to a light shade of green, some are even grey. They have pointy ears like a halling and have long shaggy dark hair. They don't naturally grow facial hair, but have big bushy eyebrows. A Horcling reaches maturaity at 14 around orc maturity age and they live till they really tick some one off or 80 which ever comes first. A Horcling May Breed with a Halfling if s/he does she produces another Horcling 50% or a Halfling 50%, Another Horcling, 75% of making a Horcling, 10% of making a halfling, 10% of making a orc and a 5% of making a half-orc. They can also breed with orcs with a 45% of making a Horcling, 45% Orc, 10% of making a Half-Orc. Finally A Horcling may breed with a human to make a 25% of making a Halfling, 25% chance of making a Horcling, 25% chance of making a Human and a 25% chance of making a Half-Orc. All other races refuse to breed with them besides Ogres but that's for another day...

Relationships: Horclings get along with Orc children but thats where the relationships generally stop. Most halfling communities shun them out of there society. While Elves wouldn't even think of letting them in there villages or towns. Horclings get along poorly with all races except orcs which with there intellegence can take potty humor to its next level. Gnomes believe they are not light-heartened and there jokes are immature and typically cruel. Elves just hate them. Dwarves really hate them. They are occasionally excepted into a human community and they are the nicer variety horclings. If accepted into halfling societys they ussually are bad sports when it comes to competetions. They are accepted with pleasure in a Orc tribe becuase most orcs think hes a child orc that is very strong so he will grow into a very strong orc.

Alignment: A horcling is typically nuetral evil, although alot are chaotic evil, some are chaotic neutral. Some Horclings are actually good though most are not lawful (becuase they have orc and halfling working togther on this one).

Horcling Lands: Almost unheard of a tribe of Horclings. Its not that theres not enough Horclings its just that the leader would be typically assassinated so many times that they'd all kill each other in a week or two. Horclings often are assassin's in communities and are never full orc tribe leaders (too short to be taken seriously).

Religion: Horlclings typically curse the gods from there own misfourtunes. They will worship Grummush the god of the orcs but not the halfling goddess becuase they believe there better than her because there taller. They sometimes worship gods of death and slaughter.

Langauges: Horclings speak Halfling and Orc.

Names: Horclings typically have Orc and Halfling names and also a tribe name and clan name if raised by orcs they have a nickname and family name if raised by halflings.

Adventurers: Horclings go on adventure with ussualy one thing in mind... Money. They'll also go out to bring there tribe a good name or for personal pleasures. some Horclings go out to claim halfling land in name of there orc clan. They will sometimes go out on adventures to become stronger and test there skills.

Horcling Racial Trait's

Ability Adjustments: +2 dex, -2 wis, -2 cha.

Small: as small creatures gain +4 to hide to +1 to hit and AC.

Horclings base speed is 20ft.

Darkvision: a Horcling can see up to 60ft in non-magical darkness but can not determine colors.

+1 to listen probably would be better it they'd take the wax out of there ears every once and a while.

+1 Jump, Move Silently and climb checks Horclings are as sure footed but not quite as sure footed as there halfling breathern.

+1 morale bonus aganist fear stacks with the +1 on all saving throws.

+1 bonus on all saving throws, a Horcling much like a halfling is good at ducking trouble.

+1 racial bonus when using a sling or thrown weapon.

Halfling Blood: A Horcling is considered a Halfling for all effects considering a race.

Orc Blood: A Horcling is also considered a Orc for all effects considering a race.

Automatic Langauges: Halfling and Orc Bonus Langauges include: Goblin, Giant, Gnoll, Draconic, Common and Abyssal.

Favored Class: Rogue or Barbarian a Horcling my choose one or the other to be his favored class.

Oh, and maybe change the -2 Wis to -2 Int, to match Half-Orcs and also because you describe them as "stronger and stupider" than Halflings.

Well there not any stupidier than halflings, there just very unattractive and the fact that the Halfling mind and Orc mind are so diffrent combing the two makes them incredibly awkward giving them so many minuses to cha. well the minuses to wisdom is becuase I believe that halfling are a little bit on the unwise side and Orcs are defenintly unwise thats why there wisdom's down. Hmmm underpowered I was afraid they'd be over powered, Well I increased climb, Jump and Move Silently by 1.

08-16-07, 03:40 PM why +2 str? I don't see this class being as strong as a half orc. More like the strength of a human, just a lot smaller. A +0 str is still stronger than a halfling. I'd also make it -2 cha to match a half orc.

Actually wouldn't it make a whole lot more sense to add the halfling ability scores onto the half orc ability scores?

08-16-07, 04:25 PM I was thinking of giving him a +0 strength but he's more Orc than halfling thats why I gave him the +2 strength. Some small class's gotta be good at fighting. As for -4 charisma seeming odd considering a Orc only gets a -2 and halflings don't get any minuses. Well my rational is Halfling and Orc societies are so diffrent that when combined makes a not so good looking screwed up culture wise akward baby thats why the charisma's so dirt low. But to make up for social akwardness the orc gene is more dominant than the halfling when deciding strength unlike the half-orc a human and orc breed where the strengths are even out between the child.

Oh OK I'll look that over, yeah it seems as though I've created Belkar...

I've changed it a little bit and hoping to see how it works added feature points got 5.5 Gonna add something...
