Alucard7087824 03-03-07, 08:15 PM	Well, I could just play the Hound Archon in MM if I can't find this one. It just seemed really nice since it had +8 STR, damage reduction 20/evil and cold iron and ???, fast healing 10, teleport, tongues, and who knows what else. i want to see what else it had
HomebrewedMonster 03-03-07, 10:16 PM	Hound Archon is a horrible character, at 11th level you have 6 hit dice. I can only imagine what giving him more special abilities would do. Because having high damage reduction at 15th level with 5 hit dice will result in a fast death.
runestar 03-04-07, 12:58 AM	First off, the hound archon has 6 outsider HD and a LA of +5, for a total ECL of 11. It gets +4 str. The trumpet archon has a LA of +8, for a final ECL of 20 when you factor in its 12 outsider HD. The stats you have posted do not seem consistent with any archon I am aware of....:confused:
