Specifics for the catfolk race are in Races of the Wild. Here the stats I can think of off the top of my head (I don't have the book with me):

DEX + 4
CHA + 2
low-light vision
+2 racial bonus to listen and move silently
+1 natural armor
favored classes: rouge, ranger
LA: +1

Wrong choice of words :evillaugh :plotting:

Cat-people are usually clean-freaks; abit snooty at times, and almost always picky.

They tend to hate dogs, as they see dogs as messy, dumb animals.

For anime, they are a comedic stereo-type that has gotten old FAST. people try and emulate them at anime coventions, usually females.

In roleplaying though, specifically D&D, they are the odd-man out (most of the time) desiring a "cat-girl" with all sorts of crazy bonuses, all the while the rest of the players have geared up for the pre-described medival europe setting their DM told everyone about 1 month ago.

Game statistics;
Cat-folk: generally underpowered in the eyes of the person that wants to play one, but WAY too overpowered for everyone else at the table;
player A "what do you mean you get darkvision 120 feet, +6 to dexterity, and can jump three times your height with a regular jump check, all at a +1 LA?"
Player C (for cat-person) "well, I have to make a DC: 11 will save versus string. THAT'S how it's balanced!"

Basically cat-people are a plague apon D&D, and should stick to playing BESM ("Big Eyes, Small Mouth")

There are plenty of fine cat-person races.

What I am looking fur and am talking about is the (Cat-morph's) Cat-people that is in the book called Savage Species! They do not say much about the morph's! I would LOVE to know more!

That info would be found in Savage Species.

Cat-morphs? Do you mean the Tibbit? (Small humanoids that can turn into cats.) (Or Cats that can turn into small humanoids, the distinction gets a bit fuzzy.)

They most recently appeared in the Dragon Compendium.

Or you might mean the Anthropomorphic cat from Savage Species, but SS is mostly 3.0.

Unfortunately, both the Dragon Compendium and Savage sopecies are not OGL content, and so we can't give details on the forums.

-a great many were confused given the plain vanilla "anthropomorphic" cat ppl (Savage Species) that were in addition to any 1/2 human & 1/2 animal race and the catfolk of Races of the Wild.
for the most part, the stats presented are accurate i believe though i cannot recall if they get a bonus on Hide or Spot in addition, though for purists, i think they would given the animal's predatory nature and all.
-they get a 40ft move at start as well. no claws or bite though. another page on this forum hypothesized that to which i am of the opinion natural weapon(s) might require a feat. who knows. DM's license on that one...
-they look decidely more human than feline for asthetic purposes for what it's worth
-Catfolk Pounce is a terribly dangerous feat; basically allows a Full-Attack w/ 2 light weapons after a charge. it is basically cannibalized from all the great cats' listings in MMI and/or the Lion Clan feat for Shaaryan humans in Faerun (The Shining South)

for flavor:
-perhaps a racial animosity to gnolls/flinds/etc. given their decidedly canine heritage, particularly if you are stressing lionine lineage of said catfolk. long story short, lions and hyenas are mortal enemies. no love lost. perhaps big Cha or Diplomacy penalty between the two, Favored Enemy, -1 Reaction table, etc.
-more variations of catfolk in the same vein of elves (drow, wood, wild, etc). my g/f (anime/vidiot junkie) had to play one of course in the Shaar (Faerun) to which we settled on Cheetah given the history of the human tribes in the region, their proclivity to savanah and the geography near the Black Ash Plains synching up so nicely. consider very minor adjustments to stats and/or abilities to personify cats in questions. guess what cheetah boots? for lion i might consider an actual claw/bite or Str buff, lowering Dex/Cha accordingly. tiger = perhaps better low-light (they can actually see in color), more physical emphasis on stats given they are largest of large/dangerous, etc. for more fantasic fare, you could employ smilodon (sabretooth) vareities, etc.
endless variety.
