| AtsuiShoto12-09-07, 10:44 PM | Well, I happen to think shifters from Eberron make great scouts; just take whichever trait fits your type of scout best. Longstrider and Swiftwing are good stuff. |
| Rulebook12-09-07, 11:07 PM | Xephs and Goblins are my fav la0 scouts, followed by Half-orcs, or Humans for melee type scouts. |
| SilverFoxKnows12-10-07, 09:00 PM | Goblins. 30 move, darkvision, +4 to Hide & Move Silently, good AC (from size & Dex). And your Skirmish damage should offset the small weapons. |
| Sinfire Titan12-10-07, 09:50 PM | Warforged Scout? MM3 has them, and the penalty they receive is offset by the feats they can access. Mithral Body, Overload Metabolism, Shocking Fist, and several others. Shifters, also from MM3, have many advantages to being Scouts. Finally, lok into the Tome of Battle: The Book of Nine Swords for the Desert Wind feats. Martial Study, Martial Stance, Desert Wind Dodge, Desert Wind Fire, and the tactical feat all improve a Scout's abilities very nicely. |
| Zardnaar12-11-07, 04:51 AM | Although LA+1 Catfolk I think could make a great scout. Races of the Wild, +4 dex, and theres a punce feat which lets them full attack after charging. Meow. |
| selenia12-11-07, 07:25 AM | I like whisper gnomes for scout characters. Also you might want to check out complete scoundrel for the swif hunter feet. |
| Seraphex12-11-07, 12:40 PM | If you're looking for something different.. Try Raptoran (Races of the Wild) LA:0. |
