| Andrewman06-24-07, 03:36 AM | Going through Races of Destiny I'm looking at the Illumians and the Power Sigils and Power Words they get as a result of two Sigils. But the book doesn't say how to select Sigil's or the what combination of the Sigil's gives you what word. Am I missing a table in this book or something, or is it players choice or DM's discretion? |

Well, I dunno. How do Lizardmen get their natural attacks? How do humans get their bonus feat? You just have them. Don't forget to pick your eye color, either. The text also makes clear that every combination of two sigils makes a power word. Guess what Aeshkrau is made of? Aesh... And Krau. Much like most languages, you slam the two sigils into each other, and get a word of some note. |

Races of Destiny very much seemed to want to increase the number of options available: much more mix-n-match than the regular Race+Class+PrCs option. One thing I misread when I was first reading was how many sigils you get. You only get two, max. It says "whenever the PC becomes second level in any class, he gets one" (or something like that), but it doesn't really mean that. |

| Eikre06-24-07, 12:14 PM | Huh? Oh. Wow. I can freely admit I never took it to be that way, but it's pretty well cut that way, isn't it? |
| El_Machinae06-24-07, 03:36 PM | My main clue was that the OP boards hadn't gone nuts. I also looked at the Sample PCs for guidance. In the Races of books, the sample PCs often have errors in them, but the "only two sigils" was a common theme in ALL the sample PCs in the Illumian examples. |
