Increasing size of animal companions? [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-24-07, 03:53 PM The statistics of some creatures and animals point out that they can become larger than normal when gaining HD. But does increased HD also increases the size of a druid's or ranger's animal companion (if the statistics say the creature can be larger)?

04-24-07, 04:43 PM It has been assumed that animal companions don't increase in size from bonus Hit Dice. They're not actual advancement, they're merely a bonus granted by the druid.
