| nonsi08-01-07, 07:56 PM | I'm looking for a race with the following traits: =========== Darkvision Lowlight Vision Movement 30 . . . Favored class: Fighter LA: 0 =========== Did anyone heare of such a race ? Thanks in advance. |
| JarionSilverblades08-01-07, 08:10 PM | I created a race that fills almost all those requirements, check out the Orc-elves in my home-brewed races. |
| Teh_username08-01-07, 08:32 PM | Provided that you ignore the "errata" in Drow of the Underdark (which makes no sense to begin with), Half-Drow fit the bill. Even if you do use the errata, though, there's a feat in the back of that same book that covers things (IIRC). Orc-elves Wow, that sounds like the punchline to a bad joke in a Dwarven alehouse. |
| Contrast08-01-07, 10:51 PM | If I remember properly, adding the Dragonborn pseudo-template from Races of the Dragon grants darkvision and Favored Class: Fighter. Please note that posting the Dragonborn pseudo-template is not permitted. |
| natzero08-02-07, 11:57 AM | KOBOLD kobold kobold small size 30ft speed dark vision 60 ft low-light only change is fav class is sorc but if you dont multiclass ;p u good |
| TheCarrionCrawler08-02-07, 01:10 PM | I can't remember, but I think Whisper Gnomes have all of those. I can't be sure, though. |
| Istaran08-02-07, 05:49 PM | I could be wrong but I think Bozak Draconians (Dragonlance campaign setting) have all of that. They are LA +0, though they have 2 racial HD (of course they're dragon HD, and grant blindsense among other niceties, so not much reason to complain). |
| Mr_Teapot08-02-07, 06:19 PM | I can't remember, but I think Whisper Gnomes have all of those. I can't be sure, though. Whisper Gnomes have Favored Class: Rogue. Why a race would have lowlight and dark vision, I don't know. It doesn't make much sense to me. Then again, I've never seen low light vision be useful to anyone. You'll have an easier time if you just look for Darkvision alone (darkvision, Favored class: Fighter and 30 foot move speed should be easy to find). Natzero: the Monster Manual doesn't list kobolds as having low light vision. I don't think Races of the Dragon changes that, so they're missing two points. |
