Knowledge of Races [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-05-07, 05:52 PM I have been racing through book after book in search of a race for a class I'm making. I am searching to see there was a race that would offer a bonus to Con and Cha without a level adjust but I think that it may not exist. I realize that this may not exist, I have found some with LA of 1, but I was wondering if anyone else had any knowledge of a race that I have not found. Any book is acceptable. I would appreciate any help.

As far as I can tell, it doesn't exist, I suggest perusing AZNmarket's Master Race List thread (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=697653). It's pretty hollistic, should give you your best option for what you want, etc. I think I saw something with bonus to Con penalties to other things and nothing going on with Cha (Neanderthals). 11-10-07, 06:07 AM Dragonborn Lesser Aasimar: -2DEX, +2 CON, +2 WIS, +2 CHA, medium, 30ft land speed, aspect of dragonkind, Paladin and Fighter, Humanoid (planetouched, dragonblood).

Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting and Player's Guide to Faerun combined with Races of the Dragon.

11-10-07, 09:23 AM As an actual race (not some templated modded one) you won't find any.

A +2 to the barman's stats (back in 2nd ED, a person with only these as good stats was called the ultimate barman) without a -2 to two others is tough to find.

Maybe try the hobgoblin, as these are LA +0 with a bonus to CON and no CHA penalty (so far the census is 50/50 on whether they should be LA +1 or stay LA +0; in the book though they're LA +0)

Also, what kind of a class is it?

11-10-07, 10:09 AM hobgoblins are LA +1 with +2 con +2 dex and darkvision in the MM but they are kind of weak for +1, I dont think they are really much better at all than dwarves and humans.

but no you wont be able to find a +con + cha race at la +0.
