I am trying to design a new template or monster class that will allow a character to play a vampire. I have decided to add two special qualities from recent sourcebooks, namely unholy grace and unholy toughness.

Unholy grace adds a character's Charisma bonus to all saves and as a deflection bonus to AC (just like the nymph's unearthly grace quality).

Unholy toughness grants extra hit points equal to the character's charisma bonus multiplied by its hit dice (essentially replacing the HP bonus normally granted by Constitution).

However, I am having difficulty assigning a true value to these qualities, since they depend so heavily on a variable score. I considered assuming an average Charisma bonus of +4 (since vampires get a +4 Cha bonus and will be likely to put a good roll there), but I wanted to get some other viewpoints or opinions, first.

Does anyone have any good precedents for setting an approximate level for when these special qualities should be granted by a monster class, or what LA they would be worth for a template? I would appreciate any input you can give on the matter!

I don't have a whole lot to support it, but afer breaking down the Nymph I would put no less then a LA +0.85(it's seems to be almost a +1 but not quite on it's own) on Unearthly Grace so for all intensive purposes let's say you give them Unholy Grace and +2 Cha, that should be an Ok LA +1.

The second one is a feat, can't remember what sourcebook it's from. The first one is a reasonably powerful class feature. I think with the two together, you can increase the template's LA by +1.
