What LAs would you give different sizes of Awakened trees.
Awaken (http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/spellsAtoB.html#awaken) Animated Object (http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/monstersA.html#animated-object)

What size? Probably Huge.

Awakened adds two HD. So I'd say ~LA +2.

Awaken only gives animals extra HDs, not trees. Also, trees could theoreticaly be any size. The size of an Awakened tree would depend on the size the tree was before it was Awakened.

The lower the HD, the higher the LA.

A Medium Awakened Tree would be ~LA +3

Why?

*Construct type
*Hardness 5
*Natural armor

So it'd be ECL 5.

I am tempted to replace the construct subtype with the plant subtype as a houserule. Maybe replace hardness with resistance to slashing or piercing attacks. The result would simply be some sort of plant race.:)

My Treefolk (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=301529) would fit the bill (although I miscalculated the LA ... it's LA +1, at least).

Emphasis mine, and

It is a plant.
Awaken
Transmutation
Level: Drd 5
Components: V, S, DF, XP
Casting Time: 24 hours
Range: Touch
Target: Animal or tree touched
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Will negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

You awaken a tree or animal to humanlike sentience. To succeed, you must make a Will save (DC 10 + the animal’s current HD, or the HD the tree will have once awakened).
The awakened animal or tree is friendly toward you. You have no special empathy or connection with a creature you awaken, although it serves you in specific tasks or endeavors if you communicate your desires to it.
An awakened tree has characteristics as if it were an animated object, except that it gains the plant type and its Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores are each 3d6. An awakened plant gains the ability to move its limbs, roots, vines, creepers, and so forth, and it has senses similar to a human’s.
An awakened animal gets 3d6 Intelligence, +1d3 Charisma, and +2 HD. Its type becomes magical beast (augmented animal). An awakened animal can’t serve as an animal companion, familiar, or special mount.
An awakened tree or animal can speak one language that you know, plus one additional language that you know per point of Intelligence bonus (if any).

XP Cost: 250 XP.
Emphasis mine.

Unlike Awakened Animals, Awakened Plants have (apparently) the Plant type, which is likely LA +1 all on its own, as well as Hardness 5 ... which is crazy powerful.

What would the Con score be for trees?

What would the Con score be for trees?According to the spell, they would have a Con of "_" because the spell says stats of an animated object, except for plant type, 3d6 mental stats, and speech. However, this seems very odd for a living creature.

Also, a tree with movable roots would have the Multiple Legs and Swim speeds, correct?
Improved Speed (Ex): The base land speed given in the statistics block assume that an animated object lurches, rocks, or slithers along.

Objects with two legs (statues, ladders) or a similar shape that allows faster movement have a +10 foot bonus to speed. Objects with multiple legs (tables, chairs) have a +20 foot bonus to speed. Wheeled objects have a +40 foot bonus to speed.

Objects might have additional modes of movement. A wooden object can float and has a swim speed equal to half its land speed. A rope or similar sinuous object has a climb speed equal to half its land speed. A sheetlike object can fly (clumsy maneuverability) at half its normal speed.

Yep.

It would have (as a Medium tree):
*Str +2, Dex +0, Con --, Int 3d6, Wis 3d6, Cha 3d6
*Medium-size
*Speed 50ft, Swim 25ft
*Slam 1d6+str modifier
*Natural Armor +4
*Darkvision 60ft
*Low-light vision
*Hardness 5
*Plant Traits
*Two racial plant HD

I would prefer to play a small tree, no racial HD.

Why did you copy-and-paste what you posted? Did you bother reading my post?

Edit: Nevermind

Keep in mind it does have an LA. A hefty one. At least +3, probably more. With Hardness 5 ... probably LA +4 at minimum. So ECL 5 (1 Class HD + LA )

Would you give them some kind of bonus to Hide(in forested areas) and/or Disguise(as a tree)?
