Large PC Races [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-24-07, 11:07 PM Are there any large races (large, not powerful build or the like) that have a combined level adjustment (LA + Racial Hit Dice) of +3? If not, what is the smallest combined level adjust on a large race?

Personally I still think there is something wrong with it.

And there is the Half-Ogre from Races of Destiny. It has LA+2

Half-ogre (Races of Destiny) LA+2, no monster HD.

07-25-07, 06:52 AM Also iirc Half-minotaur, Dragon magazine, +1 (sometimes houseruled to +2, they are quite strong for a +1 race.)

Hmm... I thought the Races of Destiny Half-Ogre was LA+2... :uh-huh:

Also, they're not large, but they have Enlarge Self 1/day: Duergar, LA+1.

07-25-07, 04:26 PM Half-Giant, but you'll have to webpages regarding Dark Sun, and it may take you a while. If I recall, the 3.5 version is Str +8, Dex -2, Con +2, Wis, Int and Cha -4... I think, you may want to check.

07-25-07, 04:26 PM Does it have to be a large race? depending on your intentions, you could always play as a medium charecter and get an enlarge person done. In our group, i play a lizardmen fighter who has gotten a perminant enlarge person done. I am a 30 strength 14.4 tall lizard. Its great for party jokes and the like and for fun i buy elixers of fire breath. We have many jokes about pc halfings with a perminant reduce person on them. Then they can get a saddle and ride the lizard into battle. It would be hilarious.
