04-26-08, 03:05 AM Are there any large PC races out there with low or no LA? I've been looking and I haven't really found any. And don't say Goliaths because their "Powerful Build" doesn't give me what I need. I need to be large.

I've looked at permanency + enlarge person but having the large size canceled out with dispel wouldn't make me a happy camper. Is there a way that I can be large magically without threat of getting reduced?

Thanks for the help

04-26-08, 03:35 AM all I can think of is half-ogres from races of detiny. +2 LA for large size and some pretty nifty stat bonuses. check it out. if your using 3e, then it's only LA +1

04-26-08, 06:32 AM Half minotaur from dragon??? LA+1, increases your size to the next category. Generally considered overpowered (since a literal reading gives you +12str as well), and not sure if it was ever updated to 3.5.
