| Staple03-08-07, 02:13 AM | I'm creating a Half-Minotaur for an epic-level game, and there's a piece of the description that has me confused: "If the base creature was of Small or Medium size, its size category is increased by one category, with all appropriate changes to its ability scores." Now, I know I take a -1 AC and attack roles, but do my attributes (strength, etc.) change for being Large instead of Medium. I've heard they do, but not always, and I don't know by what amounts. And yes, I know this is a n00b question. |

However, that is also very game breaking for its negligible cost. For purposes of maintaining game balance, I would suggest that you ignore the clause about getting the stat modifiers for becoming large and take only the normal bonuses(-1 to hit/AC, bonuses to trip etc).:) |

| YabaTheWhat03-08-07, 08:21 AM | There are actual tables for size changes, though I forget where (probably DMG for application to monsters that advance by hit dice). I think it's something like +4 STR, -2 DEX, +2 CON. Don't quote me on the numbers. |
