Large Size Dwarf? [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-26-07, 09:24 PM is there anyway that a dwarf could become large size without spells or psionics?

or perhaps a half dwarf template that can be added to another race that is already large?

is there anything in the rules that says a half giant can be half dwarf half giant instead of the presumed human?

I really just want a large sized earth dwarf for my Deepstone Sentinal Dungeon Crasher build. Does anyone have any advise on how to accomplish this in a magicless world?

also, is there anything cool i can do with the earth subtype?

07-26-07, 11:04 PM i cant think of a way without magic, but you could get a ring of enlarge person, or a permanacy cast on enlarge person.

half minotaur in DR 313

maybe geomancer and i think dragon disciple gains a size sometime in the progression but i can't remember off hand

A duergar have enlarge person as a SLA.

07-27-07, 03:28 PM yeah i saw that the duegar can do it, but no psionic type abilites or SLA are allowed, plus those critters are ugly as sin.

i guess i'll try and get my hands on a dragon mag

where can i find the Mul??

08-03-07, 03:39 AM Titanic creature template in MM2. Makes you Gargantuan, but you get boosted up to 25hd so you become epic. And there's not any LA mentioned (not even in the update booklet).

It was in Dragon magazine originally I believe. You can find it at crystalkeep online. It basically makes your character one size larger (unless they were large), faster, and stronger for LA+1. It's pretty good I guess.
