Largest ECL 12 or less race in game [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-08-07, 11:29 PM I am looking to find the absolute largest sized race I can play in a campaign. A friend of mine and I are working on an idea involving him throwing me at enemies and the bigger I am the funnier it will be. Not concerned with to much any piticular stats or anything else, just the size catagory. I would ideally like to be Gargantuan with out spells or other "do in game" effects.. but if huge is the best we can do, the fatter (and preferably flabby, sweaty and hairless) the better.

08-09-07, 12:27 AM The first thing which comes to mind is the treant (ECL12). I know of no playable gargantuan races.

08-09-07, 12:43 AM Maybe your DM lets you play an ooze. Black Pudding. Food Fight. Or he can just throw chunks of you :)

08-13-07, 06:06 PM Like runestar suggested, I think Treant is definitely your best bet for ECL12 for a straight monster. For ECL13 you can be an Ormyrr from MMII.

Alternatively, you could try finding a template that increases your size... the only one I can think of is the Half-Fiendish (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20060630a) variant on WotC.. I think you could apply that to something Large with a low ECL (like an Ogre), and pick a Huge+ Fiend to base it from, and end up with a Huge ECL10.
